Spendict Pricing Explained: Plans, Limits, and When to Upgrade

By Dino S. · July 19, 2026 · 6 min read

Spendict pricing is per-call, not per-seat, per-project, or metered by some vague “credits” unit you have to convert in your head. You pick a monthly quota of tool calls, and every call — whether it’s scoring a creative, auditing a campaign, or checking targeting — counts the same way against it.

This guide walks through the four plans, what actually counts as a call, how to estimate your own volume before you commit to a tier, and when it’s time to move up. If you’re already sold on the product and just need the numbers to pick a plan, this is that page.

The plans at a glance

There are four tiers. All of them are monthly, all of them include the same four tools and the same scoring engine — nothing is held back for higher tiers except quota.

  • Free — $0/month, 100 calls/month, no credit card required. Enough to wire up the integration and score your first batch of creative.
  • Starter — $19/month, 1,500 calls/month. Fits a single agent wired into one workflow.
  • Pro — $49/month, 5,000 calls/month. Fits agencies running multiple client workflows.
  • Scale — $199/month, 25,000 calls/month. Fits high-volume campaigns and multi-agent fleets.

There’s no separate pricing for MCP versus REST versus the CLI versus the agent Skill. All four interfaces hit the same engine and draw down the same quota — you can mix and match them freely without worrying about a per-interface rate.

The full breakdown, with the feature comparison, lives on the pricing page.

What counts as a call

Every tool call counts equally toward your monthly quota — assess_ad_creative, audit_campaign_structure, analyze_campaign_performance, and strategize_targetingall draw from the same pool. There’s no discount for “cheaper” tools or surcharge for “expensive” ones. One call, one unit of quota, regardless of which tool or which interface you called it through.

The mechanics matter here too. The quota check happens beforeinference — so once a key is maxed out for the month, the next call returns a structured error immediately, without triggering a model call. You won’t get billed or quota-charged for a call that never actually ran the assessment.

And if a call fails for a reason on Spendict’s side — a model error, a timeout — it’s automatically refunded to your quota. You’re only charged quota for calls that actually returned a verdict.

How to estimate your volume

The simplest way to size a plan is to count variants, not campaigns. A “call” is one pass through one tool — so your monthly call count is roughly the number of creative variants you assess, plus however many structure audits, performance checks, and targeting strategy calls you run alongside them.

Worked example: say your agent generates 10 ad variants per product launch, and you run about 8 launches a month. That’s 80 assess_ad_creative calls a month before any revisions. Add a round of fix_first revisions — each re-score is another call — and a handful of audit_campaign_structurechecks before each campaign goes live, and you’re realistically looking at somewhere between 120 and 200 calls a month. That comfortably fits inside Starter’s 1,500.

Scale the same math up for an agency running the same pipeline across a dozen clients, or a pipeline that batch-generates and scores 50+ variants per launch, and you’ll land in Pro or Scaleterritory instead. The free tier’s 100 calls/month is really meant for testing the integration and scoring a first small batch, not running a real pipeline month over month.

When to upgrade

A few signals tell you it’s time to move to the next tier rather than stay put:

  • You’re hitting the quota ceiling. If calls are erroring out with a quota message before the month ends, you’re already undersized for your actual usage — the plan below what you need, not above it.
  • You’re adding tools to the pipeline. Moving from just scoring creative to also running audit_campaign_structure and analyze_campaign_performanceon the same campaigns multiplies your call count even if your creative volume doesn’t change.
  • You’re scaling agents. Each additional agent, client account, or parallel workflow that calls into Spendict adds to the same shared quota if it’s on one key — plan for the combined volume, not just one agent’s.

There’s no penalty for outgrowing a plan mid-month beyond the hard stop described above — you upgrade, and quota resets on the new tier going forward.

Picking a plan and getting started

If you’re not sure yet, start on Free. Wire up the integration, run a real batch of your own creative through it, and see what your actual call count looks like over a week or two. That number, extrapolated to a month, is a better basis for picking a tier than guessing up front.

From there, the pricing page has the full plan comparison, and the dashboard is where you create keys, watch usage against quota, and upgrade when you need to.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Spendict cost?

Spendict has four monthly plans: Free at $0/month for 100 calls, Starter at $19/month for 1,500 calls, Pro at $49/month for 5,000 calls, and Scale at $199/month for 25,000 calls. Every tool call counts equally toward the quota.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan includes 100 calls per month with no credit card required, which is enough to wire up the integration and score a first batch of creative.

What counts as a call?

Every call to any of the four tools — assess_ad_creative, audit_campaign_structure, analyze_campaign_performance, and strategize_targeting — counts equally toward your monthly quota, regardless of which interface (MCP, REST, CLI, or Skill) you call it through.

What happens when I hit my quota?

The quota check happens before inference, so once a key is maxed out, the next call returns a structured error immediately without triggering a model call — plans hard-stop at quota rather than charging extra. Failed calls, when something goes wrong on Spendict's side, are automatically refunded to your quota.

Which plan should I choose?

Estimate your monthly volume as the number of creative variants you assess plus any structure audits, performance checks, and targeting calls you run alongside them. A single agent in one workflow usually fits Starter; agencies running multiple client workflows typically need Pro; high-volume campaigns and multi-agent fleets fit Scale.

Can I change plans later?

Yes. You can upgrade from the dashboard at any time as your call volume grows — there's no requirement to commit to a tier permanently, and the quota simply resets under the new plan going forward.
